Person A (living in India) had I-130 filed in Aug'1994 under Family Based F4 Category. In Dec'1994 the case was transferred to NVC. Letter was sent to person A in India by NVC in Dec'1994 saying that file will be pending at NVC until current processing date reaches priority date (in this case its Aug;1994).
From the current visa bulletin i see that current processing date moved beyond Aug'1994. Now when we contacted NVC about the status of the case all they say is that the case is transferred to USCIS.
Can anyone of you please tell what it means by NVC transferring the case to USCIS? Is there a way to find out the status of the case at USCIS. We do not have the USCIS case number. All we have is the NVC case number (MDR1994XXXXXX).
