Family-Based Greencard apply while in the US

@SusieQQQ and @Sm1smom My F2A case has been current since October 2025, yet there has been no action to date. The MyUSCIS platform does not allow me to submit an “outside normal processing time” request, and it has become increasingly difficult to reach a live agent for assistance. Are there alternative channels or recommended steps through which I can submit this inquiry or escalate the request?
You can try going through your congressperson, though if the platform deems you still within normal processing time there may not be much they can do about it at this stage.

Hi, we submitted my husbands AOS they received it December 16th.
We got our appointment for biometrics on December 27th scheduled for January 13th.
December 31st we got this RFE for the form I-864 which we filed with my income that is over the 125 with no need to add another sponsor or even my husbands income.

What do you recommend us sending now that we need to respond with evidence and the new form filled out?

@SusieQQQ @Sm1smom I’ve seen news reports that the U.S. Department of State has announced a suspension of immigrant visa processing for nationals of 75 countries, effective January 21, 2026. What I’m not clear about is whether this affects USCIS domestic processing of immigrant petitions (like I-130s or adjustment of status), or if it only applies to consular immigrant visa cases abroad. Some social media claims suggest USCIS is included, but I haven’t seen an official source confirming that yet. Do you have any verified information or guidance on whether USCIS processing for petitioners from the listed countries is also being paused?
