Need some advice..
I have a pending employment based 485 since 5 yrs and recently applied for family based GC.. Completed the FP process and an interview was scheduled at the local office.. Couple of days before the interview, local USCIS office called my attorney and de-scheduled the interview.. Took an infopass few days later and was told by the IO that the service center is not releasing my pending 485 A File to the local office.. Until they receive the A File they are not going to reschedule my interview..
Did anyone had a similar experience? I am not sure why they wouldn't transfer the file .. and isn't it all electronic anyway?
