Family applying same time

Folks,
I am reposting it as it crapped out on me first out. if it is duplicate, my apologies.

My wife and I applied for naturalization same time and even sent application in same envelope. We had our fingerprinting done same time, but she got her interview next week and no word on mine. We were really hoping to receive our citizenship together.
Does anyone know what could have happened. I do have clean record, but we are from different countries. Does anyone know how to call them and enquire, or if it is even worth it?

It appears from my experiece and that of others in this forum that it is normal for a husband-wife pair to recieve notices from USCIS at different times even though they have mailed N-400 in one envelop.

In my case my wife has been finger printed and I don't even have a receipt notice for my application. I plan to call USCIS NSC after 4 weeks. The toll free number to call is 1-800-375-5283.
