Fainted at Work - Please help

Hi All,

One of my friend fainted at last week and we took him to emergency(NY). It was a bad fall and he was hurt in face also. He was kept in emergency for one week.

Is this a Work related injpay ury? When asked, the insurance said they can cover only 80% of bill. I am tying to understand how workers comp come into this? Will that help pay his co-pay and the other 20% of the bills?

Any help is MUCH appreciated.

I am not so sure about work comp rules but in your friend's case I think the injury is not work related. His injury is not attributable to his work place or his work. For example if he fell off a ladder and hurt himself while performing some work that would be work related and worker comp would cover it 100%. If someone has a heart attack at his work place I don't think it would come under workers comp.

His regular health insurance should cover his medical expenses depending on the plan.
 
Hello

First thing you should have good food then you cant faint if you feel like getting fainted you can have any cool drink with gas like coke it will not not let you to get fainted,,,,,
