I failed to return the re-entry permit at the oath ceremony. Does anyone if and where I can mail it back?

Thanks.

Is it expired? If so, I don't think it is a big deal whether or not you send it back. They gave me back the Re-Entry permit at the time of the oath - meaning they didn't want it - as it was already expired.

My mother still has reentry permit. My sister's was only expired GC taken in exchange for Certificate of Citizenship. My reentry permit was taken by IO at the time of an interview. In oath letter they ask to bring all GC, reentry permits and any travel documents.

I wouldn't worry about it if its expired and if it is not I either make sure to not lose it before expiration (Just for not beeing responsible for beeing use by someone for any purpose) or simply will send it back to the issunig service center with a letter explanation the reason of returning it and of corse will make sure send it certified mail with return receipt request and will save the receipt for my refrence.

Mine expired about two years back. I guess I will return it...but oh, I am citizen now and I'm already feeling lazy about all of this immigration stuff! :)

Thanks mh66ii, thrix and LolaLi for all the responses.
