F4 Sibling Sponsorship wait time for smaller countries

Hi all,

Does anyone know how long the wait time is for the F4 sibling category for someone born in Fiji? Anyone gone through sponsering their sibling from Fiji to the US and what is the realistic wait time?

All countries other than India, Mexico and Philippines have the same timeline. It can change over time, but current wait time is around 17 years. If you look at table A, last row for F4 in the attached document, you can see that they are currently processing cases filed in August 2007. The visa bulletin is updated monthly and you can track progress there.

Unfortunately, the amount of visas they can issue in this category each year is limited by law. They can issue 65000 a year, and there are just under 2.2m people in this queue. This is why the wait is so long (and would be even longer if the above mentioned separate countries were not limited in the annual amount of visas they can get).
