My maternal Aunt filed our family file. So am I eligible under CSPA? If not, should I spend any time or money to file for petition any further to get approval?

What country are you from? I am assuming India if you only just got mail to proceed. If so unfortunately you have aged out. Is the country assumption correct? (It matters)

It is a matter of law as to whether or not you are eligible- there is no petition or other way around it. Your parents can sponsor you for a green card once they have their own.

Are you absolutely certain about that approval date? There is an i797 notice of approval with that date? I’m thinking it’s more likely that was a receipt notice given how quickly after the priority date it is.

Yes- I-797, Notice of Action is the heading and it have:
-receipt number
-receipt date
-Priority date
-Notice date

On the left hand side untop.

Ok, yes, wow that was fast but unfortunately that’s bad luck for you as it means you only got about 6 weeks protection for CSPA, so it seems you have aged out.

Usually there won't be any flex of the sort by the immigration system?
No, it’s either you’re of age or you are not. You can always go to the interview to be 100% sure but you won’t be refunded the fees when denied
