Hello
My uncle is in the process of getting his immigrant visa through my father (F4)
He recentlry received a package from NVC that included an application. I called NVC to ask a few questions and they told me that they are currently working on DEC 1993 priority dates and the dates on the web page show that F4 is in FEB 1994. Which one should we follow. The date we are looking for is June 1994. ALso, one of my cousins who would be a beneficiary in this will be turning 21 in the middle of 2006. IT seems like there is no way that he will get an interview in time before turning 21 because even after the priority date is reached it can take 6 months to a year for an interview . . right?
They are currently in Jordan. Can you please let me know what other information we should keep an eye on . .should we have a lawyer in a case like this or is it no help? Also, when we asked the Jordan embassy they said there is no garauntee that the kids will even be approved because they are not the primary . . . ???
Thanks for taking the time to respond
