hi, my parents are lpr in the us and been planning to apply for their citizenship sometime next year, now the problem is my petition is on F2b category and i have read that if they become a citizen of the u.s, my petition will be automatically change to F1 category that will result for much longer waiting period. Now the question is, is there any way that i can choose which category would i prefer? which of the two category can shorten my waiting period? please help me... any help would be greatly appreciated...
