We came here to the US on July 2000. The H1B visa got expired on April 2002. I was on another company's H1B approval which is valid until Sep 2004. But the visa is not stamped as we did not go to India after that. Recently I applied for F1 and it got approved without any problem. My wife is on F2 status. Now my wife reserved the ticket to go India thru Lufthansa. On the day of travel, airport authorities say that my wife cannot travel as she does not have a valid US visa. When we showed all the previous H1B approvals and F2 visa approvals, still they did not allow her. Now, How can she get the F2 visa stamped WITHIN the U.S. Or is it possible to do that.
