F2 visa and USMLE

hi everybody
I want to get some informatoin about visa F2 and USMLE exams. Could I register and take my USMLE exams before applying for F2 visa?!
 
F2 dependent of F1, or F2 son/daughter of green card holder?

In any case unless things have changed you should be able to write USMLE on a B visa.

Thanks a lot for your considerations. I am F2 dependent of F1. Also, it is appreciated if you could let me know regarding B Visa.

Let you know what? If you are writing USMLE in the US you will need some kind of visa (B visitor visa if you don’t already have another visa status) or VWP to do it on.
 
Thanks for the clarification. I want to know, if I am outside the US, is it problematic if I take USMLE exams before applying for F2 visa?
 
No. Why would taking exams be problematic? Just be aware of what you can and can’t do on F2 status while you are in the US.
