I am on F2 visa now which is valid till 2006. But my husband is in the phase of changing to H1-B visa by June 2003. His employer has applied for my change of status too. (from my current F2 to H4). I am planning to go to my home country and return in September, 2003. I should be getting my approval for change of my status (along with my husband's approval) while I 'll be in my country. My husband is saying that he will mail me the new I-94 to me and I can use that to enter into USA with my F2 visa and new I-94. And his employer is ready send me the supporting documentation about the status change. Will I be allowed to enter US or do I have to take new visa (H-4) in my country and come back? What is the probability of getting H-4 visa stamped? Or should I totally drop the idea of trip to my country and go with my husband at his convenience?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
