F1 Visa Student Marrying a US Citizen...

I am here in USA on F1 Visa for about 2 years and studing an undergrad course. I am about to marry a US Citizen in couple of months. After marriage my husband gonna file for Adjustment of Status AOS, do I need to maintain valid F1 status after marriage i.e after filling for AOS(I-130/I-485)?
Is there any problem for F1 student to marry US citizen?

I am a F-1 student and I am filing for AOS on June 10th. Even though it should not create any problem if you get out of status after filing for the AOS since you are married to a citizen, it is advisable that you maintain status so that your condition seems favorable and genuine at the time of interview. There is no problem for a student filing for GC.
 
Thanks sourav2099, one quick question, is it okay to take half course load after filling AOS?
