F1 to I 485 Pending..H4 Question..

Hello everybody,

I have a question.

my wife came to USA on F1 .she completed her master
last december.After that i applied for Green card and now
her status is I 485 Pending.

here is my question.

Can i Apply for I 539 (H4 visa) electronically ?
The uscis website says that people with F1 cant apply for
H4 dependent visa.Do they really recognise I 485 pending
status ?

Anyone experienced same problems ?
