Hi All ,
Have few Queries on AOS Status ,I applied for I-485 in july 2007 as a dependent to my husband( then I was on F1 Status).Received the receipt for I-485 and the EAD card last week(08/27/2007).
I'M not sure if I have to register for Fall 2007 as an F1 student, I came to know from my attorney that my F1 is no longer valid as F1 cannot have dual status like h1/h4 ,
if I do not register for this fall ,will I be out of status for the Summer(June 2007 to Aug 2007) as I received the I-485 receipt only by the end of Aug 2007.
I also have H1B which would be valid form Oct 2007 ,What will happen to H1B,will the change of status from F1 to H1 take place? ,irrespective of AOS status in-between!!!.
Please suggest ,if required I have to register for the classes by 09/10/2007.
