F1 to H4, will it be a problem?

Ok...I'm on F1 visa now and about to finish my study. My wife was on F2, but then she got changed of status to H-1B in the US sponsored by her employer. After finishing my study, I will work outside the US, while my wife is still working in the US.

So, therefore, I want to change my visa to H4 in my home country as her dependent in order to be able to visit her every other month.

Will the Visa Officer in the US embassy give me a hard time during my H4 process, since I was on F1 before?

Any advice will be appreciated.

No, the fact that your wife maintains H-1B status is sufficient for H-4 approval.
