F1 to H4 transfer

I am on F1visa i want to get H4 stmaped ,do I have to go to india to get it stamped or can I go to mexico/uk and get it stamped

Actually I am on f1 visa and my husband wants to file the concurrent proceesing for green card,can I file on f1 or do I have to transfer to H4

I think you can stay on an F-1 and claim to be his dependent.

I am not sure if its a valid option. But I can do some research on it and let you know. You can also call the INS helpline The INS website is : http://www.ins.usdoj.gov (you can find the number for customer support)
