My OPT expired in May, I joined the school again, and got a new I-20 valid till next year. Now I want to drop the school, and apply for the H1. There is a co. that is ready to do it.
My question is if I leave the school right now, how many days will I get to stay here, and in that time if the H1 is filed then am I fine.
For eg, If I leave school today, H1 is filed on Aug 5th. Will the lawyer be able to file the H1 after I have left the school. Please respond back, this is an immediate concern.
