I was on a F-1 and changed status to H1-B . I never used my OPT card and started working on H1-B even before OPT was approved. I would like to exchange notes with someone who has changed status from F-1 to H-1 B and who has experienced this drop box stuff or is planning to do so soon. I plan to be in Chennai in march to drop my documents. I am taking all the docs mentioned on the consulate website. Not got the photos of workplace ready though. My lawyer says that its not needed. But I am not sure. Could someone help here? Also, What should the experience letter look like?
