I am a UK passportholder who is working in the US on my F1 Practical Training Visa. I have recently been approved for my H1B visa which will start in March 2005.
I have been advised by my lawyer that I cannot leave the country until March as this will invalidate my future H1B status and I will need to submit a new application.
My F1 Visa (and Practical training card) is still valid until 2005 and I am needing to travel abroad (Barcelona) on Wednesday.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Can someone offer me some advice?
