F1 to GC

My friend under F-1 in the US now, and just got married with a US citizen. Can she starts to apply for the green card now? If she wants to go back to her country , can she definitely re-enter the US with the advance parole? How and how long can she get the advance parole?

Yes she can start GC process.

Yes she can travel on advanced parole. An advance parole is valid for one year and should be obtained before travelling abroad.
