F1 to GC - PERM application

Hi.
I am just worried about my start date with the employer mentioned in hte PERM application.
The start date on my I-20 (first OPT) is different fro mthe date mentionedi n the PERM application for GC.
Can anyone tell will this have any affect on my whole GC process? Is I-20 required at any stage of the process or date matters?

You have 2 options. If the date if off by lots of days then withdrawing PERM & refiling OR if its few days then at time of I-140 filing write to USCIS what is correct date of employment.

The attorney says that it will not affect the PERM but I am not sure baout the I-140 filling?
