I am an F1 student, still in status, still attending classes.
I'm thinking about not attending class this coming Spring semester, and wondering about the various ways to go about that.
-Could I change from F1 to B2 and remain in the country for six months without registering for class, before eventually leaving? If so, how do I do this, and how long does it take?
My I-20 is brand new, I only got it in August so I have lots of time left on it, if that matters.
I'm sorry if it's been asked before but I couldn't find information on this.
