F1 status after filing 485

Hello Friends:

My wife is in F1 status and has approved OPT. Also, We applied for 485 and received EAD.

1. Whether she has to update with new EAD to employer or she can continue maintain F1 status and use the OPT and later sometime use the EAD ..??
