F1 status after 485 filing

My wife is on F1 status. We filed 485 for her last month based on my approved 140. As we heard that F1 status is invalidated automatically after 485 filing. My wife is doing campus teaching. My question is can she still work at this time? or she has to stop working until get EAD approval? Thanks

From my experience, filling 485 won't invalidate F1. Your wife can keep her F1 until it expires. But she cannot extend F1 anymore.
