I would sincerely appreciate any concrete advice. The scenario: My F-1 visa expires July'07 and I have a valid I-20 from a school other than the one that issued the visa, until 12/07. The last I traveled back to my home country was in 2003, and due to juggling between work( internships, opt) and classes I've had to stay away from home for almost 4 years.
Now, I'm highly concerned about my move to renew the visa. Since it would only be a matter of 6 months to complete my certificate program until December, and that I've been away from home for a long time, are my chances high for a rejection?
