I am a doctor and I am trying to come to US on F1. I have gone to New Delhi Consulate initially and was asked to go to Chennai as the Consular officer felt he wasn't sure how to handle my case properly. I am not sure if this is considered as Rejection#1?
Though initially the officer looked kinda satisfied with my argument, I was denied a VISA in Chennai and the officer asked me NOT TO APPLY again!!!!
I have read posts that people have attended more than twice and had success. Is it common for the office to ask someone not to come back?
Can I go one more time? or does it damage my case alltogether? (deny entry into US for ever...with some ban or something?)
If I can go, what measures should I take? Change of University etc..pls advise..
