I showed F1 covering letter where I had my family proprieties and bank balance and my father's business and income etc ..just like here http://usapply.tripod.com/visa/f1_cover.html .On I-20 I had my boyfriend (indian citizen on H1)as a sponsor ..because my family income wouldn't be sufficient. My university fees are 32k and no scholaship .One of the tops universities in US ..for which I even rejected an university which offered 8k/yr scholaship. The officer told me that my case is very week !!
I need advice for my 3rd interview. I wont say anything about my boyfriend and only my family will sponsor me.But I can't go for the university which offered me 8k /yr because still 24k is left which is too much for my parents income.I'm thinking to go for an university where the fee is 10k and I think they give me like 2 k scholaship.and I can show 30k in my bank so the finance would be covered and my parents income is around 15k + proprieties.. Now the only problem is that this university is pretty weak and just 10k /yr so would the officers see this as such a bad thing and just reject me again thinking that I just wanna get my visa somehow?My plann is to transfer at the good univ once I'm in US on F1 visa.An other option which I have is to go for ACT and SAT again and try to get full scholaship from a better university and get the visa but this will take too much time .I defered the good univ in which i wanna be for 1 yr . Any advice or comment would be very much apreciated .Thank you
