I have been keeping my f1 and also currently on pending under I485 through my spouse who works for her sponsored employer. I just lost my f1 'cause I fell below full-time. I am thinking about appliying for reinstatement through I539. I have been working with my EAD, though, by my attorney suggested to keep my f1 until I get my 485 approved. Will I have some repercussion filing reistatement, and If I don't reinstate, will this affect my 485 approval? will they know? what should I do? what's likely to happen?
