F1, OPT to B1 to H1 while in the US ?

I am currently in the US on F1 with OPT valid until May 30, 2005. A company with offices in the US and India will be making me an offer soon. I can work for the US office up until May 2005. My questions are:

- what are my options beyond May if I wish to stay in the US?
- is it feasible or even possible, while being in the US to convert to a B1 and then to an H1 under the fresh quota?

There are always F1 or B1 option before your H1 gets approved (assuming you're going to file for H1), the trade off is you can't work while on F1 and B1. Consult a good immigration lawyer regarding your situation.

It's possible, it just gonna cost you time and money.
