I am on F1 (opt) valid till September30, 2009.I got H1B approval so my status will change to F1 to H1b on October 1,2009 but I want to continue my study due to present market condition in same university as soon as possible most likely in September. My F1 visa is valid till 2012 for same university.
1. Should I file for change of status? What are the processes to maintain f1 status with new course/degree?
2. If I join a new course/ degree
A .what will happen to my H1 B petition? Will that be cancelled or I can move to H1B anytime , next year whenever I get the job.
B Incase I go to my country do I need to stamp F1 again?
Can someone suggest what will be best on this situation? Please help in this regard urgent
