F1 --> OPT --> EAD --> H4 ???

Hi All

My wife was on F1 until Feb 2004 and from then onwards she is on OPT which is valid till Feb 2005.

I have got my I140 approved and also our EAD/AP is approved. Do I need to apply for H4 for her to keep her in status from Feb 2004 (once her OPT expires) ? Or she can be on status my EAD ?

Looks like you have applied for I-485 for her. If that's the case, she is in status till USCUS makes decision on her pending I-485.

You don't need to apply for H4 unless you want to.
