Hi, I am new to this forum and I apologize if my questions have popped up numerous times in this forum by other members. But I really need some of you to shed some light on my case and then I will be on the right track. Thank you.

I have been on F1 for 2 yrs and I met my now husband who is US citizen after I came here and then we got married last month. We are preparing paperwork to file for GC for me. From what I understand: I will need I-130, I-485, G-325, I-864 and I-693, plus of course marriage cert, birth cert, my I-94 with passport, his passport, nat. cert. Is there anything else like utility bill, joint account bank statements, our photographs (like our trips together) that need to be submitted when filing?

Thanks a million for any reply to this thread. :)

I think the best thing you can do is sending whatever immigration is asking for now such as the forms and their required fees. However, they will ask you for more along the process. So just wait for whatever they ask, do not send pictures and bill statements with the applications. Good luck. :)

That is totally wrong. Send everything joint that you have. Including photos (I didn't send originals, I had copies made) Utility bills, bank accounts, insurance, anything that proves you are a married couple that live in such a way.

It's true that the more evidence you send the better, but you may not have all these especially if you are newlyweds. The least you need is a marriage certificate and one of the docs listed in the thread above. That will not earn you an RFE. You don't have to send everything in that list, hence the 'or'. However, prepare them for you interview.

From what I can tell, USCIS will take anything when you send them but they also do liek things in certain order. Such as they would rather you NOT send pictures and such with the application. But they do like the applications and forms in a certain order when they receive them and even some on diffrent colored papers.

How do I know this? Well before I mailed in anything I met with an Immigration attourney and he looked over everything and gave me info on how to mail it in. And tips about other things, such as do not leave any blank areas on your form. If you don't have anything always put in NONE or N/A. Also, always use CAPS. And there is a certain order they like to have the forms laid out. BUt they of cours will take the forms either way possible.
