I on a F1 visa since last year and I recently got married to a green card holder (immigrant for last 5 years), in the process of obtaining US citizenship within a few months. We haven\'t registered our marriage in US till now .
I wanted to know is it possible for me to stay on my F1 status till the time my spouse gets citizenship? Will it create any problems for my F1 status if we don\'t register our marriage for a few months?
