F1 in 2 colleges...please reply

Hi i have a problem here.. I got a internship offer from a company in CA. But my school is not giving CPT, as they dont have such a process. Can I apply to a University in East and get the I-20. That univ gives I-20 along with CPT.

Can I apply to that univ and get I-20 and continue my studies at the main school in CA as full time student and part-time student in the other school.

so will the CPT given by the univ in east still valid id I do so...

please help me out

Hi,
You cannot dgo to two different schools with an I-20 issued by one of the schools. In order to best resolve your problem I would recommend that you transfer to school in the east and get a new I-20. Finish your couse work and get your degree and then apply for OPT. Hope this helps.
