Hi,
I am currently pursuing a PhD degree in USA and my visa staus currently is an F-1. I already have a MS degree in the same department. However recently I have received quite a few good job offers and I have decided not to continue my PhD any further. My question is
1.Can my company file for a H-1 for me without an OPT/EAD card?
2.I guess in the time that they file for me can I begin working for them on a CPT and then as soon as the H-1 gets approved become full time.
3. Lets say I begin with a CPT and they file for me, is there any way that in-between I fall out of status or violate any immigration laws.
All help and answers are highly appreciated.
