F1 expired..Apply for OPT/H1

My f1 visa expired last year. I am graduating this semester FALL2002. I have the following questions:
1.Can I still apply for OPT
2.Will I have any problems in getting H1

1. Yes, if you have a valid I-20. Should apply before you graduate.

2. Not really if you have an employer who is willing to sponsor you, and you have the equivalent of a US BS degree or higher.
