I need ur advice here is what hapened..went to US on Jul 11 2001 on a F1 visa i could not complete my masters due to some personal problems and had discontinuied my studies.I had enrolled my self full time for 2 semesters after which i discontinued 3 rd sem.My last date for registering in 3 sem was october 6 2002 but i had not enrolled and consequently left the US in 2003 january 15 (approx in 3.5 months wihtout status),i had landed in India on jan 22 2003.I have read that u have to leave the country in 6 months time after not registering for college.I was in the US totally for 18 months have a visa stamp from 2001-2006 and Dos ON I20 till 2005 august.I have not worked ill legaly nor have any criminal cases on me. Please answeR these questions..
1)If i apply for H1 visa now fill i face any issues from the counsulate.
2)have i done anything ill legal ie. broke any immigration laws ??
3)Will i have to undergo any verification checks for the duration of my stay in the US?do i need to take any precautions before applyong for h1?
