My friend has a problem.. She is on F1, did her CPT with a firm for 7 months... The CPT ended Dec 20th 2002.. She was asked by the firm to work 15 days in Jan 2003, which she did... She will be applying for OPT post graduation in May 2003....Now is there a problem that she has worked on an expired CPT, that when she applies for actual OPT after graduation, will INS reject OPT on the grounds that they check records with IRS and see that she worked beyond the CPT time...
