Hi LucyMO and other gurus:
My wife just changed from H4 to F1 status. Now I am planning to
file I140 and 485 concurrently with her. But I learned from somebody that
if my application get rejected, then my wife's F1 will be invalided
immediately and she needs to go back and apply for visa again.
After I read the sticky thread in this forum, I feel that maybe I
should add her into my application without applying for EAD for her.
But since her study is very important to her. I don't want to take
too much rish of it. So my question is: is the chance of my wife's
F1 being invalided negligible if my I485 is rejected, if I don't apply
for EAD for her?
Your help will be greatly apprecated.
BTW, can I apply for 131 for my wife? will this affect her F1 status?
