F..ked up Baltimore INS

Today i called INS Baltimore with a 410 number, that a..le lady was sleeping. I asked her whether my case has reached the system. She is not able to answer the question, instead she gave NVC 1-800 number to call, she claims she is a customer service rep in Baltimore.

WTF, these people are doing. I asked when i can i expect interview schedule , she told i need to go in person to INS baltimore to find out my case status..

Thats utter idiotic mann. I think, Baltimore transferees.. We need to forget our GC for another 6 months. THese a...les wont process our case.

Thats the HARSH reality. Sorry to say that. Try to keep ur client or ur employer tight till this is done.

i agree with you. this transefer will delay our process for another 6 months. i dont know why they need 4-5 months to schedule an interview??????????????
my case was transfer on july 23rd. i never called baltimore office because i know what i will hear. bunch of idiots working at that office.
mean time keep waiting buddy..................

Hi, guys. We are in the same boat. Is there some possible that we can call our lawyer or go to local INS presonal to get the information how long we have to wait. My lawyer told me that "normally, baltimore INS will send interview notice within 2 months, and interview 1 month later after they send the notice letter". I think I will go to Baltimore INS personal and let you guys know the answer. If someone can do the same thing, we can roughly figure out the current process time from different people.

My lawyer friend told me that it will take 2-4 months to schedule interview. I know I can not do anything right now. So, let it be.
Anyway, VCS has not started Oct. case.

My friend says INS Baltimore does not schedule or does any paperwork in Sept, apparantly they are closed for year end auditing. _Not sure if this is true_. He got transferred in May last year and had interview in Dec. Some people who got transferred in Apr last year had interview in Aug. So it is strange and they do in bulk transfers, may be..

Anyway after some time once i get letter of transfer from VSC I will go in person to Baltimore, I live nearby and ask them. I expect them to tell me .. your interview will be scheduled in 3-6 months. But anyway.. let us share the knowledge...

What is the criteria for the Interview scheduling..

Is it Transfer Date or Receipt Date.


If you look at ur posting. ONe person got his/her interview in 7 months and another in 4 months. That means, RD is key. I think.

I dont know what date INS Baltimore processing nowadays. IF we know then we can tell when can we expect our interview.


But the people over there are not helpful. Unfortunately they dont realise how important it it?

Only one thing we can do is, just keep our fingers crossed and keep praying and waiting.

Lastweek, i was soooo happy, VSC is going to finish August cases, they are going to start September and then october. GOD.. MY Day is coming.. i was soooo happy.

Now, this one happened. I am kind of frustrated and Helpless. I dont know.. whats gonna happen.
 
Hi, hhs. That's true. The INS office don't care about our feeling. But if you go there and ask them, they will tell you the estimate time. I think the time that they tell us should be the longest time that they expect, so that we can figure out how long it will be. That is my inital point.

Pkala, please go to INS office 2 weeks later after the case is transferred because my case was transferred at 7/23/02 and I went there at 7/30/02 and was told they still did not get my case yet.
 
Whats ur status.. DId they receive ur file and entered in to their system..

I don't know what do you mean " what is ur status?" I did not go to local INS again. But I will do again and ask and how long to wait for interview.
 
my lawyer told me today we will hear something pretty soon!!!!!!!!!!
i have no idea what the hell he was talking abt?
i might go to baltimore office next week.

I asked my company lawyer, she doent know anything about the baltimore cases.


If yours is not company lawyer, ask him/her that what dates are getting processed in INS,Baltimore.

I heard someone here saying INS,Baltimore will not process anything in the month of september.

Any updates on that.
 
Many guys got transferred to Baltimore.

I spoke to two guys., their case also got transferred to Baltimore.

Its taking 3 months for Interview in Baltimore..

But.. Lets wait..
