I came to India for revalidation(extension) of my F-1 visa. I completed my Masters and am continuing to do the doctoral program. As expected the consulate office has sent for project name clearance on August 26. My International programs advisor updated my profile in ISEAS database immediately. It is about three months now. The time specified was typically 8 weeks or more. I am working on a project with NASA but on pure fundamental fluid physics. I would appreciate any information on the duration for such clearance and on the process.
