F-1 validation in Canada

My father is ill back in China now. I'm on F-1 and want to go to Canada to got my F-1 visa stamped ( I came to US on H4 and change to F1 later on). Anyone has any idea how risky to get F1 visa validation in Canada these days? I don't have much to show my ties to my home country except my parants.

Hi Friends, I also having the same problem now, I came to US on J1 and then change to F1, I have my INS approval and now planning to visit Canada and get

my F1 sticker but I dont know what will happen, If I am taking the right steps,

A F-1 Visa Stamp was successfully achieved from US consulate in Ottawa. No question was asked and the whole interview only last 1 minute.
