Is it possible to transfer F-1 to H-1 if my husband has an employer (which is a well known company), but because he's a researcher and writes books/conducts researches as his profession, he won't have a steady salary, instead it will be commissions and royalties on published books. Is this possible or his employer has to pay him a steady salary every month to qualify for H-1?
