F-1 student marry a US citizen

You dont have to worry about overstaying in the us once you file the i485 and the i130 your status is pending and therefore you dont have to leave the us. Infact if you do leave while you filed these you might be in trouble

Sorta similar situation but my wife (F1 visa) and I are currently applying for her AOS (I-485, I-130, G-325A, I-864) and was curious about what she needs to do if we were planning to go overseas for a vacation after we submit our application?

Do we have her continue to use her I-94 for exit/entry and what becomes of her F1 (She's still going to be in school when we get back)?

Thanks

Hi Barca,
I am also in similar situation.
I applied my AOS (I-140,I-485, I-130, G-325A, I-864).I am on H1.
My wife is on F1. She also applied for AOS(AOS (I-485, I-130, G-325A, I-864). She will be graduating in December-2007.
Can we apply for her OPT ( Applying I-765(EAD) based on F-1 which will be valid for an year).
Please advice.
Thanks
