I am an F-1 student and messed up my first semester last winter. As a result I am being dismissed from the program. I did not register for summer as my status as a student was being reviewed. I did not work on campus as there were no jobs at this school and have bank statements to prove that I had sufficient money for living expenses as well. Also I have appealed for reinstatement and looks like my request will be rejected.
Now I am planning to join another school. I'll be applying for new F-1 from this school.
1) Will I face any problems at port of entry(for academic underperformance) ?
2) Will my record be enterd into SEVIS? If I withdraw from the program before
3) If I withdraw before I recieve rejection letter(ie. rejection of my-appeal-for-reinstatement), can my international advisor ignore the dismissal comment to be entered into SEVIS
I am a Canadian and have been living there for many years. If I really wanted to immigrate to States, I would have done it long time ago.
