F-1 OPT Travel with Post-EAD Legal Name Change and Document Discrepancy

I am currently on F-1 OPT and am seeking guidance regarding international travel (India) and re-entry risks following a legal last name change. My SEVIS record, I-20, and new Passport have all been successfully updated to my new legal name. However, my physical EAD card, USCIS, SSN, and my F-1 visa stamp (in my expired passport) both reflect my previous name. While my H-1B lottery registration will be filed using my new legal name and new passport, I am concerned about the 'bridge' documentation required at the Port of Entry (POE). Specifically, I am worried that the name discrepancy between my EAD—which is my primary proof of work authorization and maintenance of status—and my updated SEVIS/Passport identity will trigger a denial of entry or a problematic Secondary Inspection.

I am seeking a legal opinion on whether the mismatch between different electronic records constitutes a significant risk of re-entry.
