This is my dilemma right now. I have a master's and I'm currently on OPT since June2008. My OPT expires in May09. I got married last year in June to my DH who's a green card holder. He applied for citizenship in August 2008 and we were expecting to transfer my status once he gets his citizenship. The thing is, his application is still processing since August08, we haven't received anything from the INS, not even a letter for his fingerprints. Right now, I only have 3 months left on my OPT and I don't have any hopes that he will get anything before my OPT expires. My questions to you are: What are my options? I'm also pregnant and don't want to have my baby by myself overseas in my current situation. I really don't know what to do. If anyone has any advice, that would really be helpful. Thank you so much!
