Here is the situation:
Husband applied for I485 and included wife\'s name so that her application could be sent later as (think it is termed follow to join) at that time she was in India for a few months and could not do her medical. He did not want to delay sending the application. Now she has applied but her app keeps coming back with a letter stating:
\'Service records and the evidence you have submitted do not show that you are the beneficiary of an approved immigrant petition which would make a visa immediately available to you or that you are otherwise eligible to adjust your status to that of a lawful pertmanent resident\'.
She has sent all required docs and copies of her husband\'s I485, passport etc. His GC may be approved soon so her app has to be accepted before that.
Anybody any clue what is wrong here?
